Course Objectives:

The intended result of this activity is enhanced knowledge/competence, performance and patient outcomes. After completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • To list the indications of cochlear implants among adult patients with hearing loss./li>
  • To analyze the outcomes of cochlear implants among adult patients with hearing loss.
  • To analyze how symptoms of sinus infections may be symptoms of other disorders.
  • To analyze when to medicate, when to operate and what tests help us decide.

Accreditation: Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit: Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
