Course Objectives:
- List the main surgical treatment approaches to HCC.
- List the differences between HCC and biphenotypic HCC tumors.
- Analyze which patients would benefit from which type of surgical therapy based on size of tumor and presence/absence of underlying liver disease.
- Demonstrate the radiology approach to differential diagnosis of liver tumors.
- Demonstrate the imaging features employed in making determinations of resectability and liver directed therapies.
- Demonstrate and analyze the different approaches to directed therapies: percutaneous ablations, arterial therapies
- Demonstrate the role of interventional radiology in pre-surgical planning.
- Identify Current Regional and Surgical Approaches to Cholangiocarcinoma.
- Identify Hilar and Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma.
