Norma Fishbein, RN, MSN is the director of surgical services for Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, a member of BJC HealthCare.
In her role, Fishbein is a member of the hospital senior leadership team and provides support for the following departments:
- Center for Preoperative Assessment and Planning
- Endoscopy
- Pre/Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Sterile processing
- Supply distribution
- Surgery, including the Barnes-Jewish West County Surgery Center off Ballas
Fishbein started her BJC career in 2009 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in the department of surgery. In 2011 she started supporting Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital in west St. Louis County. Prior to joining BJC, Fishbein worked at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville, Illinois as an operating room manager.
Fishbein graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing and received her master of nursing degree from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. She is a member of The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) and has earned her Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) credentials.
