Chosen in 2010 as the Diabetes Educator of the Year, Nancy joined Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital in 2007 as program coordinator for diabetes and has a more than 30 years experience. She also serves as an outpatient dietitian for gastrointestinal, bariatric surgery, weight management and general nutritional counseling. In 2004 Nancy co-authored the patient handbook, Diabetes and Pregnancy,which has been translated into Spanish and Bosnian.

Gail Crofton has worked for BJC for 30 plus years in a variety of clinical areas and joined Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital in 2007. She graduated from Fontbonne University with a Bachelor’s in Science in Dietetics and completed a dietetic internship at St. Mary’s Hospital with the Mayo Clinic. She completed her Master in Education at Lindenwood University in 2007.
