Throw Back Thursday: Faith Hospital Opens in 1969

This is a 1969 St. Louis Globe Democrat article covering the opening of Faith Hospital (later renamed Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital). The twin pines were an important landmark tying the hospital to the farmland it was built on. The pines will be incorporated into design elements in the new Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, opening later this year.
