Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital has been bringing world-class health care to west St. Louis County since 1989. Conveniently located just west of I-270 and Olive, our campus is committed to offering a unique model that is a mix of private, academic, and BJC Medical Group physicians; in fact, more than 179 members of our hospital's medical staff are included in the 2008 "Best Doctors in America" list.

Because of our affiliation with Washington University Physicians and Barnes-Jewish Hospital, we have the ability to offer some of the most advanced treatment available. In 2008-2009, more than $17 million will be invested in Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital's campus for advances such as a new 64-slice CT scanner, adding a Cardiac Monitoring Unit, and opening a new location for Siteman Cancer Center. In addition, we've recently built a new emergency department, renovated our patient rooms, updated operating rooms, and modernized patient care areas, ensuring that our patients have convenient access to the latest amenities and technology. We're committed to staying on the cutting edge of medical technology, but we never lose sight of the fact that our greatest asset is the high level of compassionate care to which our entire staff is dedicated.
